Ever wonder where your money goes when you donate to an organization.  Whatever Your Cross Ministries purchased 90 sock slippers for men and women.  They were taken to LA Maison and LA Plantation in Denham Springs, LA.  Pine cones were turned into Christmas trees.  This may seem very menial to some people, but to these senior citizens is was a total surprise.  Several of the senior citizen ladies actually had tears in their eyes because they received nothing for Christmas.  My heart almost broke to know that when I stop and put myself in her place how I would feel because I was forgotten especially at Christmas.

Please donate to our worthy cause and know that your money is being used in the proper manner.  A total of $300 was collected for this and a total of $659.00 was spent.  My husband wanted to do for 3 senior citizen facilities so we put our own money into this project.  God saw that the money came when we needed it most.

Second of all we collected clothes in the sizes of 3T, 6T, 4, 5, 6, 10, and 12 in children's clothes.  What we did not collect we went out and bought.  We made a small dent in a world of children and senior citizens that can not fend for themselves and therefore need our help.

We had an outreach today where we fixed hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, tea, and kool-aid.  Approximately 30 bands showed up.  Everything was free.  It was a hard day, but an enjoyable one.  We gave away shoes of all sizes.  Bands from Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Texas came to our Recovery Outreach.  No one walked away hungry.  God was definitely with us.  We had a healing!  A gentleman came to our outreach in a wheelchair and walked away from us at the end of the day.  I saw him on the street the other day and he is still walking and I did not see his wheelchair like I used to.

Please donate to our  worthy cause so we can do an outreach at least once a year.

Thank you and God bless.
